I'd love to find out how they actually sound from the lucky winner once they have installed and started using them! Adam are renowned for their studio monitor range and the specs for the A77x speakers look great.

Thinking of getting a pair myself if they perform as advertised.

I was hoping to score them so I could spend my studio budget monitor allocation on some other stuff. Looks like i'll just have to buy the Event Opals instead.

I worked for a small company once whose business plan was solely based on winning the lottery ...

I guess we'll never find out. Makes me wonder sometimes if the subscription prize is a scam. I've seen 2 people appear in the mag as winning a prize. They could have been anybody. Then again I obviously have a huge case of sour grapes since I didn't win.

I'm going to defend AT on this one Silky38, what absolute POPPYCOCK!!!

If AT did as you are suggesting they would be in some serious trouble, I think even legal trouble, I have AT mag's that go back as far as I think 2002, I would have to look that up.

They're have been many of these competitions and many proud winner's and if my memory serves me correctly, AT ran a competition where the winner won $30,000 dollars of equipment (correct me if I am wrong AT, I can't be bothered looking up the mag and I may not have it) The year was 2007 and it was won by a student from RMIT and their Cert 4 Technical Production course.  Lucky bastard, bet he never did anything with it either, that however is another gripe.

If needed Silky38, I can scan and post quite a few of these happy campers, to prove you are way off target with this one.

I'm not the most popular person around these parts, opinionated, arrogant, rude, obnoxious and a know it all but I think I'm no longer the no1 goon around these parts.

You my friend have just taken my place.

Double Post, Forum acting weird again guys!!

I should also mention, I knew the winner of the 30,000 dollar prize because I was in the same class and he came in with the biggest smile on the day he won.
