Just thought I'd bring this competition to your attentiom, as it's currently running.

The idea is that after starting the download of the stems, you have 24 hours in which to do the remix and upload it.

The remix took all of 9ish hours to do and was the second one that I did during the time. I just wish I wasn't running into the limitations of Ableton Lite. The instruments ranged from Glockenspeil to shakers, Alto sax to the Eigenharp and a Roland MC-505 to u-he's ACE, and of course the original samples.

Anybody else thinking of entering. I'd be interesting in hearing different people's take on the sounds.

Does it actually require Ableton Live to do the remix or can something else be used?

Part of the judging is that you have to send in the Live set. I didn't actually know that until I read the T&C's as I was submitting it. There is a free 30-day trial for Ableton Live on their website, or if you have a soundcloud account you already have an Ableton Lite Key.
