For over two decades, the Lexicon 480L Digital Effects System has been the standard by which other reverb processors are measured. The Lexicon 480L is still a first choice in pretty much any studio that’s fortunate enough to own one of these beasts.

The crafty coders at Relab Development have decided to create an accurate emulation of this legendary reverb. Apart from faithful recreation of the Lexicon 480L, the LX480 plug-in includes modelled input and output stages, including everything from internal clipping through to quirks in the feedback loops, along with additional features and functions not found on the original such as more ER delay lines, stereo manipulation. The LX480 Lite consists of the Random Hall and the Random Hall HD from the upcoming LX480 MK2 plugin. Lite is available for purchase now, and allows for an upgrade to the MK2 when it becomes available. The plug-in is compatible with Mac OS X (10.5 or higher), Windows XP or higher. Mac requires an Intel processor and Windows requires a PIII or higher. VST or AudioUnit compatibility, and an iLok USB key is required.
