Milight Studios

Built within a factory located in Balaclava, Melbourne, just off Carlisle Street, Milight Studios is operated by Chief Engineer, Tony Salter, a former London based EMI Engineer, and Steven Castan of Elcorazon Entertainment Solicitors. The studio is packed to the rafters with musical equipment – ranging from original ‘50s classics through to contemporary masters. The studio is private and spacious creative environment, featuring an air-conditioned control room, live room and warehouse spaces, which can be further set up for recording. The studio enjoys natural light and plenty of chill-out space.

The studio itself utilises a Toft ATB 24:8:2 (72 input) console, along with outboard from Millenia, Empirical Labs, Drawmer, API Lunchbox, Universal Audio, A-Designs,Sebatron, Neumann, Lawson, AKG, AWA, DBX and more. Primary recorders consist of an Apple MacPro quad-core utilising Logic Studio and ProTools DAW platforms, Lynx Aurora convertors and Waves Platinum and UAD plug-ins, and a Tascam MS16 one-inch 16-track recorder (by request).

Milight Studios cater for full band productions, tracking sessions, vocal production, advertising jingles, song writing and mixing. All with an experienced engineer/producer at the helm.
