Mostly intended as an audio post-production studio, this recording, mixing and mastering space has seen many projects flourish in the past few years. Owned and operated by producer and percussionist, Stephan Elmosnino, the studio contains one recording and one mixing room.
While Stephen caters to all instruments and genres of music, most projects that go through Nino Live Studio are oriented towards using the latest computer based technology and often end up being mixed ‘in the box’, despite the availability of an analogue mixer.
The studio uses Digidesign ProTools 8 and a stack of plugins, with the hardware consisting of a Digidesign 003R+, Mackie Onyx 1620, Universal Audio 2-610, RME ADI-2, Alesis AI3, and Dynaudio BM15A monitoring. Microphones include the AKG C414, Sennheiser MD421, Shure SM57 and 57Mod, along with Audio-Technica microphones.
Nino Live uses both Macintosh and PC computers.
