Rumpus Records was designed by the late Richard Priddle, and specialises in acoustic recordings. The live room incorporates a high ceiling with oversized windows to allow for natural light. The ceiling has been fitted with custom designed diaphragmatic diffusion modules and the acoustic absorption wall panels are engineered to balance and treat frequencies in order to achieve bright characteristics and to give your recording ‘air’. The Control room has been specifically designed with non-parallel walls. The custom designed acoustic diffusion panels achieve a flat frequency response which is exactly what any engineer needs in a control room. The studio uses a 36 channel Soundcraft mixing console, Solid State Logic AD/DA conversion, and Logic Pro.
