The Mixmasters ‘Broadcast’ studio has evolved within a converted cottage. The studio is spacious and comfortable, and features a vibrant colour scheme and beautiful paintings by Jo Kerlogue. It also exhibits impressive wooden fixtures inspired by the timber and mud-brick surroundings at Mixmasters Studio. A mere five minute walk from the central market, and just around the corner from the Brecknock pub should you require accommodation or a cleansing glass of South Australia’s finest, the location is almost too good to be true.
As you’d expect with Mixmasters, the studio is brimming with luscious bits of kit. The gear list kicks of with the NEVE 81 series console, and is then closely followed by outboard such as Avalon 737s, UA 6176, UA LA610, Avalon U5, LA-3As, LA-2As, LA-4As, a Chandler TG-1, Distressors, a Fatso, and an AKG spring reverb. Superb!
