Soundbaker Studios is run by engineer/producer/songwriter Rob Agostini. The studio offers professional recording and production solutions for bands, singer-songwriters and record labels. Rob has recorded and produced many tracks, achieving high-rotation on commercial radio and TV stations throughout Australia and Canada. Soundbaker accommodates a variety of musical styles and influences, ranging from jazz, to acoustic rock, through to pop and electronica. Rob’s expertise centres around working closely with songwriters who require a ‘producer’s ear’ to be applied to their material. Situated 10 minutes from Perth City, Soundbaker offers a modern and relaxing workspace to ensure your creative ideas reach their potential, augmented with with a collection of high-end equipment to capture your recordings as best as possible.
Soundbaker utilises a MacPro 8-core using Apogee AD16-X and DA16-X convertors, combined with outboard such as; Tube-Tech LCA2B, API 2500, API 3124+, Quad Eight MM403 (x 2), Avalon 737sp, Dangerous 2-Bus, Distressor EL8-X (x2), Sytek MPX4A, LA Audio Prostrip (x2), Sherman Filterbanks, Korg MS2000, Yamaha Motif 6, Orange and Fender amps, Fender, Gibson, and Martin guitars, Quested and Grover Notting monitoring, and microphones from Neumann, AEA, Royer, Coles, Milab, AKG, Bees Neez, Shure, and Sennheiser.
