Arturia Keylab MKII Controllers

By

26 June 2018

Arturia has released the second generation of its KeyLab MIDI controller keyboards, available in both 49- and 61-key versions. You can easily control your outboard synth and Eurorack modules with KeyLab’s CV/Gate outputs. Like the original KeyLab, the MkII models pair perfectly with Arturia’s Analog Lab software to take control of your jam sessions of live performances. There’s a set of transport control buttons for a DAW and a small LCD screen to display presets and basic control information. The Pro-Feel action keybed with aftertouch is the same you’ll find on the MatrixBrute and MiniBrute 2 analogue synths. Both versions of KeyLab MkII have 16 RGB-backlit performance pads that can be used to trigger custom chords, switch user maps and activate samples. Multiple expression pedal inputs mean even more control options which you can assign to whatever parameters you like in your DAW. The pitch and mod wheels are machined metal and both models have nine rotary encoders and nine faders.
