BASS SLAPPER FROM WAVES

By

22 November 2017

Waves is calling its new bass simulator plus “the most elaborate slap bass VI and sample library ever created” that promises expressive possibilities likened to a seasoned bassist. Check out the intro video and it’s hard to disagree. Waves considered the style of slap bass worthy of dedicated recreation and the result is Bass Slapper.

The plug-in has 11 interactive playing positions with automatic string switching. Full 5-string articulations include thumbing, popping, mutes, and more. And being a Waves plug you get studio-quality effects and authentic amp simulation. Bass Slapper comes in all the usual DAW formats like AAX, AU, and VST. It also runs as a standalone instrument and is fully NKS-enabled for tight integration with Maschine or Komplete Kontrol.

Bass Slapper is going for an accessible intro price of US$29. Now’s a good time to get your funk on.
