VOLCA MIX

Volca Mix is the long-awaited mixer for the Volca series. The four-channel analogue performance mixer lets you construct a live setup combining multiple Volca units. Besides the volume faders you also get Lo/Hi Cut filters and a master chain that lets you control dynamics. There’s even a send and aux in for connecting external effects. In addition to the sync function found on all Volcas, there are also DC output connectors that can supply power for up to three Volca units. Numerous functions to facilitate your on-stage Volca performances have been packed into a high-quality aluminium-panelled body.

KONNECT

Konnect is a portable all-in-one stereo PA system that can be controlled via the Konnect App. The one-piece unit has a single 6.5-inch driver and two one-inch HF drivers. It can be mounted on a standard speaker stand and is easy to set up and carry around It has an intuitive interface onboard along with a variety of EQ presets. The Scene function lets you store and recall scenes instantly. Other features include a feedback suppressor, centre cancel, Bluetooth connection, effects on each channel, and a master reverb. Konnect has four inputs — channels 1 and 2 provide XLR/TRS jacks and channels 3 and 4 support stereo. Output power is 90W RMS.

KR-55 PRO

The new Korg KR-55 Pro is a multi-function rhythm machine with numerous rhythm patterns and a mixer/recorder built into a practical interface. The KR-55 Pro gives you an easy way to jam with the backing of real drum/percussion sounds in 24 different styles that were recorded live using Korg’s Real Groove Technology. It provides a rich variety of input jacks, mixer functionality, effects, and equaliser, as well as a versatile recorder that can record to an SD card. The intuitive interface means that there’s no need for complex programming. Battery-powered operation allows complete mobility and you can connect your favourite instruments via the inputs (one XLR mic input, two guitar/bass DI inputs and a stereo aux input).
