Tascam has pushed into the iOS recording world with the release of its iXR USB audio/MIDI with iOS connectivity.
Designed to make your PC or Mac the hub of a professional audio recording setup, the iXR also delivers direct connectivity to your iPhone and iPad via the standard iOS Lightning or 30-pin connection. Best of both worlds.
iXR has two Ultra-HDD mic preamps on board, with phantom power, mic and instrument-level inputs. You also get zero-latency monitoring, MIDI I/O, and audio resolution up to 24-bit/96k. Balanced stereo outputs can connect to studio monitors or directly to a mixer in a live scenario. iXR is bundled with Cubase LE for Mac and Windows, as well as Cubase LE for iOS.
